STRAIGHTESSE

Inebrya Straightesse is a traditional, thioglycolate-based permanent straightening system designed to chemically restructure the hair and fix it in a new, straighter position. Its ammonia-free formula combines controlled straightening performance with the strengthening and conditioning support of keratin and collagen, helping professional hairdressers create smooth, frizz-free, soft and manageable results.

PERMANENT RESULT: New growth retains its natural texture; treated lengths remain chemically restructured. PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY: A complete diagnosis, strand test and strict timing control are essential. NO STRAIGHTENER REQUIRED: The service does not require a flat iron to activate the chemical straightening action.

Straightesse is based on classic thioglycolate technology. During the straightening stage, thioglycolate breaks the internal structural bonds that help determine the hair’s natural shape. The hair is then positioned into a straighter form, and the neutralising stage reforms and fixes those bonds in their new position.

Because the internal structure is chemically changed, this is a permanent straightening service rather than a temporary smoothing treatment. The final appearance can still be influenced over time by the condition of the hair, repeated mechanical stress and the client’s home-care routine.

Keratin Supports the structure and strength of the hair and helps protect against chemical stress. Collagen Helps retain moisture, support elasticity and improve the fuller, smoother appearance of the hair fibre. Milk proteins Provide amino-acid-rich conditioning, softness, body and shine while helping the hair feel more manageable. Ceramides Provide lipidic, emollient and protective support, helping reinforce and improve the feel of weakened hair.

Straightesse consists of three professional products working together as one complete service.

Straightening Cream: The active straightening phase that restructures the hair and allows it to be reshaped into a straighter form.

Protective Restructuring Fluid: A protective treatment used throughout the service to support, strengthen and protect the hair before, during and after straightening.

Neutralizing Cream: The final phase that stabilises and fixes the hair into its new straight structure.

Straightesse is designed for natural or coloured hair and is particularly effective on coarse, resistant textures. It may be considered across curl patterns from loose waves to very tight curls, but curl type alone must never determine suitability. Hair history, porosity, elasticity, chemical exposure and current structural condition are more important than the visible curl pattern.

  • Bleached or lightened hair.
  • Heavily highlighted hair.
  • Visibly damaged, fragile or excessively porous hair.
  • Hair that has previously been chemically straightened on the same lengths.
  • Any hair that fails the professional strand and elasticity assessment
  1. Protect: Apply the Protective Restructuring Fluid before the chemical straightening action to prepare and support the hair.
  2. Straighten: Apply the Straightening Cream carefully and uniformly, and process according to hair type and condition.
  3. Protect again: Apply the Protective Restructuring Fluid to support and strengthen the hair after the straightening phase.
  4. Neutralise and fix: Apply the Neutralising Cream evenly to stop the straightening action and reform the internal bonds in the new straight position.
  5. Finish with protection: Complete the process with the Protective Restructuring Fluid as the final strengthening and protective step.
