There are 3 different naturals:

  • Pure natural – cool tone with 50% blue pigments. The pure natural is formulated with pure pigments, free from minerals, residues, and impurities. It gives 100% grey coverage for maximum natural effect and long-lasting colour stability. It is ideal for porous, stressed, and brittle structures with poor colour retention. Also recommended for pre-pig procedures.
  • Natural (/0) – neutral tone with 1/3 of each yellow/blue/red. The natural series (/0) offers nuances with a universal natural base, for maximum reliability and total grey coverage with a soft natural beige reflection. Ideal for all hair types.
  • Intense Natural (/00) – warm tone with 40% yellow + 35% red. The Intense natural (/00) offers colours with a slightly warm, non-golden natural base, for total grey coverage. Ideal for fine-medium hair including hair stressed by intense chemical treatments.

Mix:  1:1.5 with 20 to 30 Vol for 25-40 minutes

Red Booster

Concentrated red fantasy colour that lightens and colours at the same time. The Red Booster can be used on both natural and coloured hair for delightful, lasting red reflections. 100% grey coverage. Mix:  1:2 with 10 to 40 Vol for 25-40 minutes. Can obtain up to 4 levels of lift on natural hair using 30-40 Vol.

As per the image, the superbooster can give up to 3 levels of lift on coloured hair using 30-40 Vol – without using bleach!

It can also be intermixed with /66F series for a darker red.

Correctors

Concentrated fantasy colours can be mixed with other nuances to boost the amount of pigment and obtain a more intense colour. Available in Red, Violet, Blue, Green and Yellow.

  • When used as a colour correction or intensifier add up to ¼ corrector to the prepared colour mix (normal ratio 1:1.5) without adding extra developer.
  • Mix:  1:2 with 7 to 10 Vol for 25-40 minutes if used by itself.
  • When used as a “fashion colour” mix the corrector 1:1 with the base colour and add 1.5 times developer to the total colour mixture.

If you have pre-lightened hair and want to apply a vibrant colour, and have it last longer, try mixing it with a level 10 colour that already has that corrector’s undertone. For example… using the 10/11(has a blue undertone) with the blue corrector will give you a vibrant blue that will last longer because there is more pigment that can penetrate the hair with the blue corrector to give you that intense blue colour. That will make the colour last longer. Or try the 6/20 (has a violet undertone) with the violet corrector for that intense violet.

Silver Toner

Silver toner, highly concentrated with an anti-orange action to neutralize yellow on highlighted hair. Will not provide grey coverage. Mix: 1:2 with 3.5-10 Vol. DO NOT mix with other nuances.

Super lighteners

Super lighteners are high-lift colours with different types of anti-red-orange-yellow reflections. They achieve 4-5 levels of lift with 40 Vol. They will not provide grey coverage. Mix: 1:2 with 30 to 40 Vol for 45-50 minutes. Boost all other super lighteners with 30% by adding 12/00 in a mixing ratio of 1:1.5

Neutral

This is a colour tube devoide of pigment. It is used to increase lift, dilute a tone or to remove colour overload. Mix:  1:2 with 10 to 40 Vol for 10-50 minutes. The Neutral can lift up to 1-4 levels on natural hair with 10-40 Vol and 1-3 levels on coloured hair (not darker than level 4) with 20-40 Vol.

For correction of too dark cosmetic colour add 50% neutral + 50% target colour + 20-40 Vol.

Grey coverage guide

  • Must use at least a 20-30 Vol (20 Vol with make the hair darker)
  • If less than 70% grey hair – use the desired shade.
  • If more than 70% grey hair – use a pure colour one level darker that the target colour.
  • Pre-pig when there is an elevated percentage of grey hair.

How and when to Re-pig / Pre-pig:

  • When the base colour is two tone levels lighter than the desired colour.
  • When there is an elevated percentage of resistant grey hair.
  • Use a pure colour that is a tone warmer and a level lighter than the desired colour that you require. Use a low volume oxidiser.
  • Rinse and dry. Then apply the desired colour.
